Scheelite flotation process   Scheelite dressing can use gravity, magnetic and flotation separation. The types and properties of the ore decide the separation methods and processes. Basing on good floatability of scheelite, the flotation is selected.   Introduction Scheelite flotation product line is suitable for the scheelite containing multi metals with complex structure. Separation of scheelite and calcspar & fluorite Concentration pulp with high temperature is common method. First,  the pulp is concentrated to 60%-70%; the next, sodium silicate is added into pulp; then, the pulp is heated to 80℃ and stirred for 30-60min; the last, it is diluted with water. The floatation of scheelite is under the room temperature, and the product in tank is calcspar & fluorite. The separation of scheelite and barite It is difficult to separate scheelite and barite by sodium silicate because of the closed inhibitory action for scheelite and barite. We choose alkyl sulfate as collector to repeatly select barite under the 1.5-3PH, and the product in tank is scheelite. The separation of scheelite and sulfide Xanthate is used to capture sulfide minerals in scheelite floatation. We add a little oxide and sodium sulfide to inhibit sulfide without floatation. The separation of scheelite and Quartz silicate Oleic acid as collector and sodium silicate as inhibitors, which could inhibit the quartz and silicate gangue and float scheelite.

Gold flotation process

Gold flotation process   Flotation is a method that is widely used in gold ore processing plant to process the rock gold ,commonly used in dealing with highly floatable sulfide minerals containing gold ore. Flotation process can maximum enrich gold to the sulfide mineral , tailings can be abandoned directly , the cost of processing plant is low, 80% of China's rock gold are used in this method. Quartz sand mineral flowsheet

  Quartz refinement is a high difficult separation technology removing the bit or microimpurity and then get concentrated quartz or high purity quartz. Quartz refinement process mainly include washing, classification & desliming, scrubbing, magnetic separation, flotation, acid leaching, microbiological leaching, etc.   Introduction 1. washing, classification & desliming The SiO2 grade will be lower along with quartz particle size becoming fine, impurity ores grade will oppose. This phenomenon is obvious particularly in the quartz ore containing a large amount of clay. So it is necessary to washing and desliming before bebeficiation . 2. Scrubbing Scrubbing means removing the thin film on surface of quartz ore and mud impurity ore and further grating mineral aggregate by mechanical force and sand grinding & peeling force. Then classification and further purify quartz sand. At present, mainly use rod scrubbing and mechanical scrubbing. 3. flotation It is great difficulty to separate the mica and quartz. Use the anion collector under acid condition or kation-anion collector under alkaline condition to flotine will get good effect. Generally, after scrubbing, desliming, magnetic and flotation, quartz purity will up to 99%. 4. Acid leaching Thin acid is good for removing iron and aluminous, use thick acid and aqua regia to remove titanium and chrome. Generally, use mixed acid by above acids to remove impurity ore. According to requirements of final quartz product, control every factor of acid leaching and do the best to reduce acid concentration, temperature and dosage to control the production cost. 5. magnetic Use strong magnetic separator to remove the impurity iron is the key part. To reach a high quality of product quartz, the high intensity magnetic field is necessary to remove week magnetic impurity. In current years, strong magnetic separator is widely used to quartz dressing plant.

Graphite mineral processing flowsheet

  Graphite beneficiation method include flotation, electrostatic separation, gravity separation, etc. Flotation is the most widely used process. Graphite mineral processing are mainly suitable for all kinds of graphite with different crystal habit and graphite accompany with mica, etc silicate minerals or pyrite. Beneficiation method: flotation, electrostatic separation, gravity separation, etc. Flotation is the most widely used process.   About graphite ore: Graphite ore include amorphous graphite and flaky graphite. Amorphous graphite also call cryptocrystalline graphite. This ore have small graphite crystal, surface is earthy and industrial performance is not good. But this graphite ore have high grade, general 60-80%. But its flotability is bad. After flotation, the grade have no remarkable increase. Thus, if the grade is lower than 65%, shall not be mined, the grade between 65-80%, selection and then use. The feature of Flaky graphite is the graphite present as flaky or foliated, raw ore grade is not high, general 3-5%, can't Exceed 20-25%. This graphite ore have good flotability and grade can up to 90% after flotation. So, raw ore grade with 2-3% can be mined. Flaky graphite have good performance and can be used to make advanced carbon product. So, we can't only consider the grade for different graphite, but also the type, then decide whether use the flotation process. Flaky graphite have good flotability, so mostly use flotation to select. In China, generally use the kerosene or diesel as collector, 2# oil or new flotation oil as foaming agent. After many years production practice, 4# oil are considered as ideal foaming agent for graphite. Generally, Cryptocrystalline graphite associate with mica etc silicate minerals. When flotation, can use starch, dextrin, organic glue, cellulose, etc agent to control the silicate minerals, for example, if the pyrite content is high, add lime and oxide.   GRAPHITE ORE BENEFICIATION METHOD Flotation is the most common method used in graphite processing plants. Basically, all the flake graphite processing plants adopt flotation to separate the graphite. In general, the beneficiation process includes: one roughing, one scavenging and seven to eleven cleaning, which can obtain the graphite concentrate with a fixed carbon content of 90%-97%. In order to protect the flake, the regrind of concentrate generally adopts sand mill. Due to its strong hydrophobicity and natural floatability, flake graphite generally uses kerosene or diesel as a collector, No. 2 oil or No. 4 oil as a foaming agent for graphite flotation. Sometimes, lime or sodium carbonate is added to adjust the pulp PH at about 8-9. As for silicate minerals containing clay, quartz, mica and feldspar, it’s necessary to add the silicate, dextrin, starch and cellulose to inhibit gangue minerals and disperse the pulp In order to continue to increase the fixed carbon content of graphite, the chemical beneficiation method is adopted to purify, such as high temperature alkali fusion acid leaching method, HF acid leaching and mixed acid leaching, chlorination melting and so on., which can produce the high purity graphite with the carbon content over 99.99%. The gravity separation is mainly used to preprocess the graphite ores, pick out the heavy minerals, discard tailings in advance. After the preliminary enrichment of graphite, flotation is used to further increase the fixed carbon content of graphite. When large numbers of pyrite, limonite, garnet, rutile, tremolite, diopside and other minerals with large proportion are contained in minerals, it’s necessary to use the gravity separation to reach the preliminary enrichment and then obtain the coarse graphite concentrate. The coarse concentrate is further enriched by flotation. Therefore, the gravity separation is only used to preprocess graphite ore and in most cases, it’s combined with fotation in actual production. At present, it’s rarely used. aphanitic graphite The raw ore grade of cryptocrystalline is generally high, with carbon content of 60-80%, and the product can be obtained after hand separation, crushing and milling process. In recent years, the flotation has also been adopted in cryptocrystalline graphite ore to increase the fixed carbon content. The separation of cryptocrystalline graphite flotation is more difficult and flotation is usually used to preliminarily enrich the graphite. The concentrate and tailings obtained by flotation are sold as crystals with different quality or the concentrate after flotation is chemically purified. Related Cases

Magnetic separation is very important for potassium feldspar and is the highest efficient equipment to remove irony mineral. 5. Flotation: at present, the strong and week magnetic separator is not suitable for all potassium feldspar ore, the flotation is a good supplement option. We need use collector, which can remove impurities efficiently and remain potassium feldspar. Jinpeng research institute can deploy different flotation agent according to different condition. 6. Acid washing concentrate: use vitriol as acid washing agent, according to acid concentration and iron content in potassium feldspar to adjust, when the vitriol concentration is certain, the iron content is in proportion to vitriol dosage. After acid washing, the Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 are removed and separate ferrous sulfate solution, then get concentrated potassium feldspar powder.

Baryte mineral processing flowsheet

Jig selecting process use two kinds of jig to select the coarse and fine particle respectively after crushing. 2、magnetic separation Generally, use wet magnetic separator to select out iron-bearing mineral, such as siderite, then the baryte can be use to produce barium medicine which require very low iron content. 3、Flotation Flotation are used to separate the fine-grained dissemination baryte and tailings from gravity separation. According to different adsorption type, use fatty acid alkyl sulfate, alkane sulfonate, etc anion collector or kation amine collector to flotine baryte.  

Phosphorus ore flotation process

  According to different phosphorus ore property, phosphorus ore separating process have flotation, scrubbing desliming, gravity separation, chemical leaching, combined separating, photoelectric selection, magnetic coating, etc. the flotation is most applied, including direct flotation, reverse flotation, direct-reverse flotation and double reverse flotation.   Application Phosphorus ore flotation process is suitable for complex ore texture, complex ore occurrence relationship, fine particle size, disseminated closed, mixed symbiosis, difficult monomer separation phosphorus ore. Process flowsheet 1. direct flotation process Direct flotation use effective inhibitor to control gangue mineral and collector to concentrate phosphorus in foam. It is suitable for low grade phosphorus ore, including magmatic rock type apatite and deposition metamorphic type apatite. 2. reverse flotation process: Mainly used for separation of phosphorus and dolomite. Use fatty acid collector to emerge dolomite in alkalescence medium and enrich phosphorus in tank. The greatest advantage is flotation in normal temperature and the particle size of product in tank is coarser that is good for subsequent process. 3. double reverse flotation In alkaline condition, Double reverse flotation let silicate surface take positive charge and use anion collector to separate the ore. Flotine dolomite first, then reverse flotine silicate, the heavy concentrated ore left in tank. This process can be operated under normal temperature and coarse particle size.

Molybdenum Dressing Production Line
